T Jacobs Knives unofficially started in September of 2018 when I was suddenly inspired by a TV show I came across…you know the one, I’m sure.  I’m a maker, always have been, always will be.  I made beer for 20+ years. I have built cabinets, furniture and other woodworking projects. I currently work part time as a welder/fabricator and work with steel on a daily basis. I am also a home cook and prefer to make most things from scratch.  I am fascinated by the process of starting with raw materials and creating something beautiful, useful and enjoyable with them. All these experiences provide inspiration and the skills necessary to design and build a knife that will work when you need it to now and for a lifetime to come

I was given my first knife as a Christmas gift when I was around 7 years old.  Since then, I have been a “knife guy”, collecting them over the years and even displaying them on the walls of some of my first apartments.  I have always carried a folding pocket knife with me everywhere I go.  I would be lost without it.  

A knife is a tool.  It’s one that many take for granted and we may not even realize just how often we use knives or knife-like items in our everyday lives. Knives play an important role in our lives, and I want my knives to be there as a tool you use often! 

All of my knives are handmade.  Each one comes with a handmade and hand-stitched leather or a quality Kydex sheath.  Great care is taken to make sure my knives are not only nice to look at, but also as comfortable to use as possible.  They are an extension of your hand and need to perform perfectly.  That is my mission and commitment to you.
